Day 01– Negombo

Our guide will warmly welcome you at the Airport and will be taken to the Hotel. Here travel and tours sri lanka provides you with two options based on the arrival schedule.

Day 02 –  Anuradhapura

Day 02 takes you Anuradhapura. Our next visit in the7 Nights & 8 Days Tour Sri Lanka Itinerary is Anuradhapura which is one the most ancient capitals in the history of Sri Lanka. The city is famous for its historical places and ruins of ancient Lankan civilization which are well-reserved to up today. It was the capital of Sri Lanka from the 4th century BC to the beginning of the 11th century AD. The ancient city is considered to be a sacred kingdom in the Buddhist Religion. Therefore, the city includes monasteries and temples. Sri Maha Bodhi, AbhayagiriDagaba, Ruwanwelisaya Stupa, Thuparamay, Lovamahapaya, Jetavanaramay, Mirisaveti Stupa are famous and sacred places holding significant value of its own place.

Day 03 & 04 –  Sigiriya

Day 03 takes you to Sigiriya.

Traditional Village Tour

The village tour starts with a bullock cart ride near the village pond and then catamaran boat ride which takes through fascinating and picturesque sightseeing. A short walk through paddy fields and vegetable plots will lead you to an ancient village where cooking demonstration on traditional cooking will be done and later to enjoy the tasty food of Sri Lanka.

Sigiriya  Rock is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and it the 8th Wonder of the World. It is a masterpiece of our ancestors.

Pidurangala is a huge and massive rock situated in Sigirya and few kilometers away from Sigirya rock. It holds number of historical articles and attracting sightseeing.

Tourists can decide on rock climbing either Sigiriya Rock or Pidurangala Rock based their interest. Or tour around the Sigiriya rock.

Day 05 – Kandy

Day 05 takes you to Kandy

Dambulla Cave Temple

Dambulla Cave Temple or Golden Temple of Dambulla is a World Heritage Site. There are more than 80 documented caves in the surrounding area.

Spice Garden

A visit to a spice garden provides an insight into a golden and old industry of spice production in Sri Lanka. The smells of cinnamons, pepper, mace, nutmeg and cardamom attract and mesmerize thousands of tourists.

The Temple of the Sacred Tooth

Sri Dalada Maligawa or the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is most venerated Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy. It is located in the royal palace complex of the former kingdom of Kandy. It has the relic of the tooth of the Buddha.

Kandyan Dance

Kandyan dance is a form of dance culture in sri lanka. It’s native to Kandy, the Central Hills region known as Udarata.

Day 05 takes you to Pinnwala Elephant Orphanage

Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is an orphanage, nursery and captive breeding ground for wild elephants. Pinnwala has the largest herd of captive elephants in the world.

Day 06 & 07 – Nuwara Eliya

Tea Factory

A visit to a tea factory has become a staple of every Sri Lanka travel itinerary. The production of tea requires heavy machines and plenty of manpower as it involves a tedious procedure of plucking, withering, rolling, oxidizing and drying.

Tea Plantation

It is well known fact that Tea production is one of the main sources of foreign exchange Sri Lanka. The cool Temperatures, rainfall and the humidity of the country’s central highlands provide a climate that favors the production of high-quality tea.

Tea Museum

Hanthana Tea Factory originally constructed in 1925 is the Ceylon Tea Museum. It exhibits vintage tea-processing machinery and tea pioneers.

Moon Plains

Moon Plains is one of the surprisingly beautiful and vast slopes among the peaks of the central highlands of Sri Lanka. It is covered in a carpet of healthy grass. It is home for many wild buffaloes, deer, the occasional leopard, wildlife elk and variety of birds.

Horton Plain – World’s End

World’s End is located within the Horton Plains National Par in Nuwara Eliya. It is a sheer cliff with a drop of about 4000 feet.

Day 07 – Negombo

Back to Hotel in Negombo or the Air Port

Tour ends on the 07th day after reaching Negombo or the Air Port.

Please note that at your request we may continue the tour further visiting places based on your interest or may drop you at down South so that you can enjoy your journey as you prefer.
