- The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic or Sri DaladaMaligawa which is located in the royal palace complex of the former kingdom of Kandy is a Buddhist Temple in Kandy, Sri Lanka. It contains the relic of the tooth of the Lord Buddha. It has been a belief that whoever holds the relic has the governance of the country. - The National Railway Museum in Kandy was established in 2014 in view of commemorating the 150th anniversary of the railway service in Sri Lanka. The museum is a fine collection of engines, rail cars, trolleys, locomotives, carriages and other articles that depicts different eras since 1864.
