Explore the classic attractions of Sri Lanka on an 8-day tour that covers all six UNESCO World Heritage sites. You’ll be picked up at Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayaka on Day 1 and taken on a journey that balances the country’s heritage, natural sites, and wildlife. Itinerary
Day 1: Airport – Habarana:
Habarana Lake, Habarana, North Central Province upon landing at Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake, you will be met by a tour representative and receive a garland of flowers. Then proceed to Habarana. Check in at the hotel, and enjoy the rest of the day to relax at your leisure. No meals included on this day. Day 2: Habarana – Anuradhapura – Habarana:
Mahamevnawa Dhammachethiya Buddhist Monastery Anuradhapura, Anuradhapura, North Central ProvinceAfter breakfast, visit the sacred city of Anuradhapura.Meals included: • Breakfast: Breakfast at the hotel included (no drinks). You will receive 1x500ml water bottle per person per day complimentary! Accommodation included: Overnight stay at ACME Grand, Habarana (3star).
Day 3: Habarana – Sigiriya – Habarana:
Ancient City of Sigiriya, Sigiriya village tour, Central ProvinceAfter breakfast, visit and climb the famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress and Eco Park Kawdulla or Minneriya. Meals included: • Breakfast: No drinksAccommodation included: Overnight stay at ACME Grand, Habarana (3star).
Day 4: Habarana – Dambulla – Kandy:
Kandy Lake Club – Cultural Dance Show, Kandy, Kandy District, Central ProvinceAfter breakfast, leave for Kandy, stopping by Dambulla Rock Cave Temple on the way. Then explore a spice garden and a batik factory before arriving in Kandy, where you’ll check in at the hotel. In the evening, enjoy a performance of Kandyan dance, and visit the Dalada Maligawa (Temple of the Tooth). Day 5: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya
Nuwara Eliya Golf Course, Nuwara Eliya, Central ProvinceAfter breakfast, tour the city of Kandy and go souvenir shopping. Then visit the Royal Botanical Garden before continuing to Nuwara Eliya, stopping at a tea factory en route. Afterward, visit the golf course, Victoria Park, and Gregory Lake. Day 6: Nuwara Eliya – Tissamaharama:
Yala National Park, Sri LankaAfter breakfast, depart for Kataragama, visiting Ravana waterfalls on the way. Check in at the hotel, and then leave for a 4×4 jeep safari in Yala National Park in the mid-afternoon. Meals included: • Breakfast: No drinks Accommodation included: Overnight stay at Peacock Reach, Tissa (3star).
Day 7: Tissamaharama – Galle -Mirissa Weligama:
the Stilt Fisherman at Weligama en route, followed by the Galle Fort. Duration: 4 hours Meals included: • Breakfast: No drinks Accommodation included: Overnight stay at Jagabey hotel, Weligama Mirissa (2 star).
Day 8: Mirissa – Airport
Turtle Farm (if time permits or depending on the time of departure) then to the Bandaranaike International Airport to catch your departure flight. Meals included: • Breakfast: No drinks No accommodation included on this day.
